Rare Earths

I want to realize my own ideas and this site will collect all of them. Apps, retro games, games and books are the topics! I feel like my ideas are precious and rare, that's why I chose the name "Rare Earths".
Have a look to the final products and leave me a feedback.

COMING SOON
PROJECT NAME: NEW YEAR

I have other incredible ideas for more apps, games and books. Some of them could have a big social impact. I'm still thinking, which idea should I apply next. I will tell it soon...

COMING SOON
PROJECT NAME: BRAIN

This android app will be a new game for PlayStation 1 nostalgics that will be released just before the end of the year.

NEW
PlayStation 1 Advent calendar 2026

19.09.2026 - This android app is the reason why I started to build this Website and study C# to develop apps. It represents a PlayStation advent calendar. Simply click on the door, listen to the music and guess which game is the music from. Will you guess all the 24 musics?

PlayStation 1 Tiles

01.09.2026 - This android app is a whole complete playable tiles game. Rebuild the original image of the first PlayStation 1 from scattered pieces.
Can you recognise the swipping sound?

PlayStation 1 Facts

15.08.2026 - I'm proud to announce my second app for your android smartphone. This app is more interactive and provides you some interesting facts about the PlayStation 1 by clicking on the corresponding button.
Open and close the app a few times. Do you notice any difference?

The Rare Earths Website

08.08.2026 - I'm happy to announce my first downloadable app I have ever made. This app simply replicates the Rare Earths Website, but it represents the first little step of a big dream.
Are you able to recognize the sound in the background?

PS2 Day One Unboxing

21.03.2019 - I almost forgot about this YouTube video. It was such a long time ago when I booked a professional TV production studio to record and edit the unboxing of the PlayStation 2 Day One with iMovie.
The catch of the console was quite amazing. I remember I was at school. My grandfather rang his former colleague in the shop and got the confirmation only one piece was available. My grandfather asked him to put it aside and then moved to the shop. When my grandparents bought it, they also got a special dedicated bag.

This project is not part of my job. It's a passionate hobby, which also involves some costs (hardware, plans, textbooks, online tutorials, access to marketplaces, ...). If you'd participate to my financial sacrifices buying me a coffee, I will appreciate.
